JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel may be good option for individuals who are looking to improve facial wrinkles or imperfections or enhance the appearance of the lips. There are three concentrations available which can treat anything from fine wrinkles like crow’s feet to deeper folds like naso-genian folds. Dr. Abergel performs the JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel injection in his office. Discomfort is typically minimal, though the patient’s comfort can be optimized by using a topical anesthetic. Dr. Abergel uses an ultra-fine needle to inject the JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel directly into the skin. Depending on the size and number of treatment areas, the procedure may take anywhere from five to thirty minutes to complete. This simple, convenient procedure produces immediate results.

There are few side effects associated with JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel, though some temporary redness and swelling may occur at the injection site.
